Winston Churchill

Winston Churchill was born on November 30, 1874, in Oxfordshire, England. He was the son of a prominent British politician and an American socialite. Churchill was educated at Harrow School and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where he trained as a cavalry officer. He began his military career in 1895, serving in various conflicts and campaigns of the British Empire, including the Mahdist War in Sudan and the Second Boer War in South Africa.
